Terms of Service

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may only use the Service with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information when registering, and do not share your access code (password) with anyone. We are not liable for any loss arising from unauthorized use of your account that results from your failure to safeguard it.

You may export or permanently delete your account data at any time from Settings → Account. Deleting your account removes your durable identity (login, entitlements, cross-season record); it does not retroactively undo the effect of past in-game actions on other players.

You agree not to, and not to assist anyone else to:

• Cheat, exploit bugs, use bots, scripts, or other automation, or multi-account for unfair advantage;
• Buy, sell, or trade accounts, in-game resources, or in-game currency for real money or anything of real-world value;
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other players or staff;
• Interfere with or attempt to disrupt the Service's servers or network;
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service except where applicable law expressly permits it;
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

We may investigate suspected violations and take action — including warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent termination of your account — at our discretion, with or without notice.

The Service may offer purchasable cosmetics, convenience items, or a season pass. Our stated policy is that we sell time, identity, and belonging — never power: purchases never grant a gameplay advantage unavailable to free-to-play players through ordinary play.

Virtual currency and items have no monetary value, cannot be redeemed or exchanged for real money, and are not your property — they are a limited, revocable license to use a feature of the Service, granted for as long as the Service and your account remain active. Purchases are final and non-refundable except where required by applicable law.

The Game is organized into seasons. In-world progress (colonies, points, rank) is reset at the end of each season. Cosmetic-only rewards and your durable account identity carry forward across seasons; in-season game state does not.

Our Discord server is an optional community space. Participation there is also governed by that server's own community rules and by Discord's own Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. We may remove content or restrict access to the Discord server independently of any action on your Game account.

The Service, including its software, art, music, writing, and the Void Reach name and marks, is owned by Paperfox Studio or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property law. These Terms grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the Service for your own non-commercial entertainment. All other rights are reserved.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for violation of these Terms, for extended inactivity, or at the end of the Service's operational life. You may stop using the Service, and delete your account, at any time.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times — this is an actively developed, independently operated project.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Paperfox Studio will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of in-game progress, items, or data. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount, if any, you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where practical, announce the change in our Discord community. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction to be specified by Paperfox Studio], without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
